About Decryptedgaming

Decryptedgaming is a hosting platform for video game servers privately for friends and sometime publicly for others. This is not a company but just something I do as a hobby for fun and to learn more about IT. Almost everything is maintained and hosted by me with the biggest external service being the domain name decryptedgaming.com from Squarespace. 

7' Server rack

To the left you can see a smaller 15U rack. This used to hold all my equipment until I outgrew it. The larger 42U rack is the current setup where all the games and even this website is being hosted. 

PowerEdge R720 server 

This is my main server that host the game servers, websites, weather data for another website, and much more. Running windows server for the OS, 2 intel xeon e5-2690 CPU's, and 192 GB of memory.

Self build server

Hosting Minecraft servers is my main pride and joy. So to create the best experience for players and a excuse to add more to my server rack I build this computer to act as a server just for hosting Minecraft. Yes its overkill but you can put a price on what makes you happy. Running windows server for the OS, a AMD Ryzen 9 9900X CPU, 64 GB of DDR5 memory, and 1 TB of M.2 storage.
